Agnes, 12, helps her mother nurse her sister who has AIDS and can't do anything for herself. Agnes was identified by the local Home Based Care Volunteer for the Save the Children Child Care Training. She is provided with equipment such as gloves, soap and bleach to minimise her chances of being infected. Agnes sometimes misses school to look after her sister when her mother is away.
