General measures of implementation

[articles 4, 42 and 44]

States must do everything they can to implement the rights in the Convention. They should cooperate as best as they can with international organizations that have the same goals, and all information on their progress should be made available to the general public.

How has Save the Children been working towards this?

Signatories to the UNCRC have committed all their resources to live up to the Convention. Save the Children New Zealand has called on the New Zealand government to act on the CRC , while in the UK, Save the Children UK's campaign "Gordon Brown Say Yes!" has been raising voices all over the country to urge UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown to help make healthcare free in Africa.
