Life in Buhimba camp in Eastern Congo
Buhimba Camp

(20 June, 2008) Today on World Refugee Day, there are 37 million refugees and displaced persons living away from home. These people have fled as a direct result of conflict, disaster, instability and persecution.

Nearly half of all refugees are children. Vulnerable and far from home, some are separated from their parents; life is often difficult.
