  Abdelwahab, 13 years old, Grade 4 of Khouralbodi Village School

I am from Khouralbodi Village, 170km south of the capital of Blue Nile State. Along with my family and neighbors we fled this area during wartime only returning home when peace returned to the region.

My picture shows...

The situation faced by the villagers during war compared with what we experience during times of peace. I have written on the picture ‘Now no war - Yes peace!' and then ‘I don't want war, I want peace'. You can clearly see which situation me and my classmates prefer.

I think education will change people's ideas about war and help them to understand how war could destroy their lives.
