Save the Children and South Australian UN Global Peace Schools along with students invited from other Adelaide schools will be celebrating the UN International Day of Peace again this year at Thebarton Senior College on Friday 19 September. Students and other invited guests including members of parliament and local dignitaries, will enjoy a day of celebration that includes a variety of fun and exciting peace-building activities that will begin at 10 am.

At 12.00 noon, a bell will be rung and Eva Varga SEO and United Nations Representative Sathavy Suos will read the UN Peace declaration. Students from Seaton High School will then lead the audience in singing the song Peace Will Come then we will enjoy a barbecue lunch and more performances adjacent the school cafeteria.
