Save the Children in partnership with Evangelical Brotherhood Church, supports training of 133 school teachers spread over 100 schools in 7 districts of Eastern Highland Province.
In addition, this partnership reaches out to over 2,000 girls, boys and young people in improving their literacy skills.
Save the Children’s work contributes to improving the access and quality of education to children.
Save the Children encourages and supports children and young people to participate and raise their opinions in decisions that affect their lives.
We are currently supporting four youth advisory committees in Goroka, Madang, Lae and Port Moresby.
We support them to meet, discuss and find ways to resolve their issues. Save the Children’s work contributes to empowerment of children and young people.
