How you can help

There are many ways you help Save the Children:

  • donate money towards one or more of Save the Children Australia's overseas programs
  • donate money towards the work being supported in Western Australia
  • become a member of Save the Children in WA (currently $11) and be kept up-to-date with how we are helping children - and how you can help
  • join a branch or group near you
  • offer to volunteer in your local opportunity shop
  • sell the very popular 'fundraiser' pins in your school, office or amongst your friends ($2.50 each)
  • raise funds by initiating or become involved in a special event such as a musical concert, film morning/evening, morning tea, art exhibition - the possibilities are endless
  • donate books, records, CDs, videos, sheet music (in good condition) to the annual Save the Children book sales, held at University of Western Australia in July and South of the River October/November
  • support one of the metropolitan op shops by donating unwanted clothing, crockery, linen, bric-a-brac, etc.
