Kirby Chown is the Ontario Regional Managing Partner of McCarthy Tétrault. McCarthy Tétrault has offices across Canada in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and B.C. She is a partner in the Litigation group and practises in the area of civil litigation, including medical malpractice and family law. She is Chair of the Firm's Women's Task Force and Co-Chair of the Firm's National Pro Bono Committee. Ms. Chown is a patron of Starfish Greathearts Foundation, a South African AIDS charity. She is a member of the United Way Cabinet and was Co-Leadership Chair for the 2007 campaign. She sits on the Major Individual Giving Cabinet. She is the founder and Co-Chair of Women Gaining Ground, an innovative women's initiative at United Way. Among her many community activities she is a founder and Co-Chair of smART Women, a group of women who support educational programming at the Art Gallery of Ontario. |

David Hoff is Senior Director of Government Affairs (western Canada) for Bell. He has also worked for CIBC, the Government of Canada, and the University of Calgary. In 20 years of work experience in the private, public, and education sectors, David has earned a reputation for insightful and balanced decision-making. David earned a BSc. from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Business Advisory Council of the Canadian Institute of International Affairs. |

Tracey Jennings is a Corporate Tax Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in the Canadian entertainment and media industry. Since 1997, Tracey has worked extensively in the broadcasting, film production and distribution, and newspaper sectors. Her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers began in Halifax in 1987. She has provided tax planning, compliance, and international tax advice for a wide variety of clients from smaller independent firms to large multinational corporations. Tracey is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick and a licensed Chartered Accountant. She has spoken at numerous industry events, tutored for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (“CICA”) In-depth tax course, and is currently PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Tax Learning and Education Leader for Canada. |

Dan Legault is the Managing Director of Revelstoke Partners, a Toronto-based merchant bank focused on assisting companies in challenging situations, ranging from sophisticated, later-stage startups approaching commercialization to more mature but under-performing companies. Prior to Revelstoke Partners, Legault was President of Opal Sky, a seminal CRM services firm and, earlier, President of Butterfield & Robinson, the renowned high-end travel firm. Earlier still, Dan was a Captain and pilot in the Air Force. He has an LL.B. from Queen's University, and is a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the New York Bar. Dan is the former Treasurer of the International Save the Children Canada Alliance. He is a Board member of Green Shield Canada and of Save the Children Canada. He lives in Toronto with his wife Baska and their two children Aleksandra and Jack Rorke. |

Jill McPherson is the founding member and Co-President of the Cape Breton University Save the Children University Club. She is presently enrolled in her fourth year of the Bachelor of Arts Degree Program, majoring in both Honours Anthropology/Sociology and Political Science. She is the Vice-President of the Cape Breton University Students’ Union and in addition to her various responsibilities as Vice-President she is a committed member of both the CBU Board of Governors and the Academic Council. Jill is also highly involved with university student life as shown by her participation in various university societies and committees. |

Catherine Mitchell has demonstrated leadership in a number of strategic roles at Tundra Books, the children's publisher of McClelland & Stewart. She is Director of Foreign and Special Markets, and has been honoured with the 2004 Claude Aubry Award for distinguished service in the field of Canadian children's literature. Prior to joining Tundra, Catherine taught elementary school in Regina, and ESL in Montreal and Quebec City. She has extensive community and Board experience. |

Kishor L. Modha, M.Sc., is General Manager of Mondetta Clothing Company, established in 1986. Kish was born in Uganda to Indian parents. He was forced to leave that country in 1972 when the Uganda Government under Idi Amin expelled people of Indian origin from the country. As Kish and his partners/nephews come from Kenya and Uganda, they decided to give back to those countries through the creation of the Mondetta Charity Foundation in 2006. He lives in Winnipeg with his wife, Divya. An active community member, Kish has worked with the Rotary Club and other prominent service organizations. |

Robert Rafos is the President of the Northwater Foundation. He has a PhD from Michigan State University and spent 10 years as a research fellow, before joining ICA international, a private NGO. He worked in various financial and administrative roles while serving in Kenya, Nigeria, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Chicago and Toronto. He helped to found Northwater Capital Management Inc. in 1989 and retired as a Managing Director in 2003. |

Allan Rock, Q.C. is currently the President and Vice Chancellor of the University of Ottawa. Prior to commencing this post in July 2008, he was a partner with the law firm Sutts, Strosberg LLP and a Specialist in Civil Litigation. Mr. Rock was elected to the House of Commons from 1993-2003 and served as Minister of Industry, Minister of Health, and Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. He served with distinction as Canada’s Ambassador to the United Nations between 2003-2006, during which time he was instrumental in designing and securing global commitment at the UN 2005 Summit to the principle of the Responsibility to Protect populations from genocide, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. He currently serves as UN Special Advisor on Sri Lanka on the subject of Children and Armed Conflict. |

Lauren Snyder-Gault has been an active volunteer with the Windsor Branch of Save the Children Canada for 20 years. She follows in the footsteps of two previous generations of SCC volunteers. As the Chair of Special Events, her responsibilities include raising funds and awareness for Save the Children. Lauren has been fortunate to travel around the world and visit two SCC field offices and project sites. She is a volunteer with Rotary's Children's Safety Village, Scouts Canada, and local charities. Lauren also provides independent living to seniors, through Sales and Marketing with Security ONE Alarm Systems. |

Effie J. Triantafilopoulos recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Save the Children Canada from June-September 2006. Effie is a senior executive with management experience and accomplishments in government and public policy, private legal practice and non-profit organization management. Effie has served in Ottawa as Chief of Staff at the Treasury Board and Departments of Industry and External Affairs and International Trade. Most recently, Effie served as the Executive Director for the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association. She holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Ottawa, and a Masters of Law in International Trade and Competition Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. She has served as director on the boards of numerous national volunteer organizations. |
