Thank you to our Donors

In what has become the biggest emergency response in its history, Save the Children is reporting this month that it has assisted up to 1 million people - a majority of whom are children - who survived the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Asia and Africa on December 26, 2004.

Save the Children continues to stand by hundreds of thousands of children and family members who survived the disaster in more than 1,000 villages in five countries: Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and Somalia. As a result of the tremendous generosity of donors worldwide, we have been able to transform the lives of many children who survived the tsunami and now have hope for a better future.
