Adow* is 4 years old and extreme drought in Kenya has killed his family's livestock causing a devastating shortage of food for the whole family. He soon began to suffer from severe acute malnutrition because of a lack of food. "His body temperature is critical. His body is suffering fever," Adow's* Father, Diisow* shared.
Adow*, received the crucial treatment he needed at a Save the Children-supported hospital. The treatment is simple and effective. “He is strong now,” says Diisow*. “He slept last night for eight hours almost, his body is in healthy now.”
