Save the Children is doing whatever it takes to protect children and their families from the devastating impact of this deadly disease. But we need your support to do more to stem the march of this epidemic and build up health systems so they can cope in the future.
We are working with partners to support children and raise awareness of how to prevent infection and stop the disease spreading.
Fear and misinformation are helping to spread the disease so we have trained more than 3,000 community health workers, who go from house to house explaining how to prevent infection.
We have also built a treatment centre in Liberia and are building a network of ten Community Care Centres. In Sierra Leone we will be managing another treatment centre outside the capital Freetown.
By donating to our Ebola Crisis Appeal you will help our campaigns to stop the spread of this terrible disease, treat more patients and support children who have lost their parents.
