Project Manager - Sustainable Delivery Initiative
Save the Children International are currently looking to hire a Project Manager for our Sustainable Delivery Initiative team, to be based in our central London office. This is a unique opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to join a fast paced and dynamic organisation which is just at the start of its ambitious new strategy to reach the most marginalised and deprived children.
In this busy role you will manage the design and implementation of the Sustainable Delivery Initiative, leading on business improvement across our Country Offices. This will include mapping behavioural gaps in our worldwide network of offices, identifying root causes and proposing relevant solutions and interventions, reviewing and adapting the design and implementation of interventions, establishing project schedules, identifying and managing interdependencies with other key projects and proactively identifying and managing project risks. You will also manage project communications and engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in managing the implementation of similar international development or humanitarian or change projects, as well as experience of humanitarian or development operations management in an INGO country office or headquarters. You will also be qualified to a degree-level in International Development, Business or a related field.
On a personal level you'll have strong time management and communication skills, a proactive approach with a highly strategic focus, and be an exceptional business partner. This role requires a high standard of English, with additional language skills in Spanish, Arabic or French advantageous.
