Our CEO, Jasmine Whitbread
Jasmine was appointed the first international chief executive officer of Save the Children in 2010, after serving as Chief Executive of Save the Children UK from 2005.
Before joining Save the Children, Jasmine spent six years with Oxfam, first as Regional Director in West Africa, and then as International Director responsible for Oxfam's programmes worldwide. Prior to this, Jasmine was Managing Director of a Thomson Financial business, based in the US. She has a background in international marketing in the technology sector.
Jasmine has a BA in English and an Honorary Doctorate in Laws from the University of Bristol and completed the Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Jasmine is a non-executive director of BT Group Plc and a governor of the Dragon School. She holds dual British/Swiss nationality and is married with two children.
