DONATE TO END CHILDHOOD HUNGER
Every minute, 35 children are born into hunger. You can help change that.
As wars intensify, the climate crisis worsens, and funding for life-saving nutrition is cut, millions of children are facing starvation and severe malnutrition.
We’ve been providing essential nutrition to children for over 100 years — but right now, the funding that could save their lives has been slashed. Health centres are closing. Supplies are running out. Children are dying from hunger that is entirely preventable.
Babies like Ikran in Somalia are waiting for the therapeutic milk they need to survive. But with your help, there is hope.
Your donation today could help deliver therapeutic food and urgent care to children who need it most — before it’s too late.
YOUR $120 GIFT COULD pay for the life saving treatment of 2 children with acute malnutrition
Childhood hunger is not a lost cause. But time is running out. From Gaza to Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Ukraine and far beyond, children’s lives and futures are quickly slipping away.
Donate now to our Children’s Emergency Fund, and you’ll help us deliver life-saving support to children on the frontline of this crisis.

URGENT: HUNGER THREATENS MILLIONS OF CHILDREN
As conflict, climate crisis, and economic collapse intensify, millions of children are being pushed to the brink of starvation. The number of children facing life-threatening hunger is rising fast, while the funding that supports life-saving nutrition is disappearing. Over 16 million children under 5 are facing severe, potentially fatal malnutrition each year.
Across the globe, therapeutic food supplies are running out. Health centres are being forced to shut. Medical staff are working without pay. Children are dying from a condition that is entirely preventable: malnutrition.
In Somalia, 18 health and nutrition centres have already closed.
In Afghanistan, 21 clinics risk closure, affecting 1.5 million people.
In South Sudan, 800,000 children may lose access to care.
Malnutrition is already claiming young lives across the globe. Without urgent action, many more children will die in the coming months.
Hunger should not be part of any childhood. Donating now will make a difference to children. Together we can stop hunger.

the power to save lives: why therapeutic food matters?
Historically, severely malnourished children could only be treated in health facilities and stabilisation centres, and most were never reached at all. With the creation of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), the picture has changed dramatically.
RUTF is a powerful peanut-based paste packed with nutrients. It’s:
Easy to store – no refrigeration needed
Ready to eat – no cooking or preparation required
Safe anywhere – effective even without clean drinking water
Simple to give at home – parents can easily administer
Proven - 90% success rate in treating severe acute malnutrition
For many children, RUTF is the difference between life and death. Just six weeks of treatment — $67 — can save a life.
