65 children in Gaza and 2 in Israel have been killed.

We're calling for an immediate ceasefire.

What's happening?
  • Over 65 children in Gaza and two children in southern Israel have been killed in the recent 11-day escalations of violence.
  • More than a thousand people in Gaza have also been injured, including over 500 children
  • A ceasefire was recently called, but children still need urgent support to recover.
  • Houses have been turned into rubble, schools and hospitals damaged and thousands of families ripped apart and displaced.
  • Children have told us that they have been living in fear.

What are we asking for?

  • We're calling for a permanent ceasefire and an end to the decades-long occupation.
  • The international community must find a just solution that addresses the underlying causes of this escalation.
  • We're calling for the blockade on Gaza to be urgently lifted as children’s lives hang in the balance.
  • The Government of Israel and all parties must allow aid workers to reach children with life-saving support, as well as the unimpeded entry of essential supplies and fuel.

Save the Children is ready to support families through a range of vital programmes. This is going to be a long road back to recovery for many and the international community must come together to aid that recovery.
