We are dedicated to creating inclusive and accountable systems that protect children and adolescents from all forms of violence and exploitation. Our services center on mitigation, prevention, and response, in key areas including violence against children, combating child labor, preventing gender-based violence, ensuring online safety, and providing protection in emergencies and conflicts.

Climate impacts disproportionately impact children. With this in mind, we also address climate challenges for children who face unsafe migration and trafficking. Our work focuses on providing children with the most comprehensive protection by strengthening existing systems, advocating for enhanced child rights, and promoting peacebuilding and social cohesion. We achieve this through strategic prevention and awareness raising, service delivery and referrals, research, advocacy and networking, community mobilization, and meaningful child participation.

Keep Up the Capacity

Our preventative and responsive approach to child protection for Rohingya and host communities in the Cox’s Bazar districts builds awareness and enhances accountability. We focus on supporting children who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, and exploitation or were at risk. Training children, adolescents, parents, and volunteers to support children’s development and well-being, and to foster a protective environment, enables us to embed awareness within communities. We instill ownership within communities through training and field experience, enhancing case management workers' capacity to handle tasks. This is coupled with strong coordination at the camp level, which streamlines referral pathways for efficient service delivery. Our parenting sessions and positive discipline training equip parents with healthier, more effective methods that promote better child development.

Every You in Unified Protection

We continued to strengthen community-based mechanisms, such as parent groups, peer support groups, child clubs, and adolescent clubs. These mechanisms have fostered a proactive approach and mindset to preventing and responding to child protection concerns, while also raising awareness. Our adolescent clubs empower youths with access to life skills training, protective behavior education, and psychosocial support, enabling them to navigate protection challenges. Our collaboration with the Department of Social Services (DSS), Child Welfare Boards (CWS), the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA), and the Child Affairs desk aims to ensure these mechanisms are incorporated into government actions. We enhance the capacities of district and upazila-level stakeholders and CWS to effectively address these issues and improve coordination among child protection actors.

Every Stitch for Safety

We engage communities, garment workers, and their children to create a safe environment in the RMG sector and for families. Our advocacy focuses on female workers’ working rights while continuing to provide daycare centers so that their children have a safe learning space. These spaces provide essential care and pre-primary education for children ages 2 to 5. We initiate dialogues with children’s groups, duty bearers, and local leaders so they take ownership of protection systems to monitor and respond to child labor and marriage. Our community-driven protection system empowers community leaders to monitor and respond to cases of child labor, and they have extended to children facing child labor and marriage issues.
