The Opportunity The Sonologist is responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients. The role involves working closely with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging services in line with organizational protocols and patient care standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in practicing ultrasonography.
- Medical graduate (M.B.B.S.) with updated BMDC registration.
- Having a certificate of Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (DMU).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team, under pressure, and in a sensitive environment
- Some experience in or understanding of the health sector in the Rohingya Context.
- Ability to work under extreme circumstances, including stress, high-security risks, and harsh living conditions. Works and lives in a flexible, adaptable, and resilient manner.
- Working with trustworthiness and integrity, and has a clear commitment to Save the Children’s core values and humanitarian principles
