HUMANITARIAN RESPONSE
As a key actor in the humanitarian response in Burkina Faso, Save the Children implements humanitarian projects in the areas most affected by the crisis, through an Emergency Response Team (ERT) that is trained and ready to deploy in case of an emergency. These projects include emergency response, support to household livelihoods, income‑generating activities (IGAs), child protection, education and nutrition in emergencies, advocacy for funding and humanitarian access, and more.Given the evolution of the crisis, we adopt a conflict‑sensitive approach to ensure we do not exacerbate the situation, and we integrate emerging themes into our work, such as climate change
