Protecting Coastlines | Empowering Communities | Transforming Lives
Why This Matters
Coastal communities in Sierra Leone face urgent threats from climate change - rising sea levels, stronger storms, and increasing temperatures. Over 75 communities across Kambia, Port Loko, Moyamba, Bonthe, and Pujehun are at risk.
Led by the Government of Sierra Leone through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in partnership with Save the Children and local organizations, SLCRP is a model of collaborative climate action.
SLCRP, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), is building a future where people and nature thrive together.
