Join the call for a definitive ceasefire now

This pause in hostilities must become an immediate and definitive ceasefire and an urgent review of new Israeli INGO registration rules must be completed.

The bombs need to permanently stop falling, aid needs to enter Gaza, and there needs to be a definitive ceasefire so that
children are protected.

The resumption of hostilities in Gaza is nothing short of a death sentence for Gaza's children.

This halting of aid will have devastating consequences for 1.1 million children in Gaza and their families as children already on the brink of famine and suffering severe malnutrition will not be able to get the nutrition and food they need, families will not be able to rebuild their destroyed and damaged homes and children who have been injured and maimed in the war will not be able to access the treatment they need.

Further, the Government of Israel has denied re-registration to INGOs, including Save the Children, under new rules that will restrict their ability to deploy international staff and deliver humanitarian aid in Gaza and the West Bank from January 2026. Despite these barriers, we continue to provide aid through Palestinian staff and partners, while calling on the international community to oppose measures that put children’s lives at further risk.

The world cannot turn a blind eye as children in Gaza are once again at risk of being killed, maimed, displaced, starved, and left even more vulnerable to disease and the elements. A definitive ceasefire remains the only way to ensure children are protected from further bodily and mental harm. It is the very least they are owed, and the very least the international community is obliged to deliver.

The international community cannot afford to fail Palestinian children. We must demand that the ceasefire becomes definitive and put an end to the violence now.

Together, we can protect children from the horrors of this conflict. Stand in unity with the hundreds of thousands who have already taken action and sign the petition for a definitive ceasefire now.
