The nationwide “Not Alone – Together for Online Safety” campaign concluded in January 2026, marking a year-long effort to promote a safer digital environment for children and adolescents in Vietnam. As a campaign partner, Save the Children contributed to raising awareness, strengthening digital skills, and empowering children to protect themselves online, while continuing to work with partners to build a safe, inclusive, and trustworthy digital space for all children.
On January 11, 2026, the closing event of the nationwide campaign “Not Alone – Together for Online Safety” took place in Hanoi, marking the conclusion of a year-long journey to promote a safe, healthy, and positive digital environment for children and adolescents across Vietnam.
Initiated by the Digital Trust Alliance and implemented throughout 2025, the campaign brought together government agencies, businesses, organizations, schools, and communities in a collective effort to raise awareness and strengthen action to protect children in the digital space.
Launched on October 10, 2025, the campaign set out to equip children with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate the online world safely. As a campaign partner, Save the Children worked alongside stakeholders to support children in becoming more proactive in protecting themselves online.
“We aim to build a healthy digital environment where every child is equipped with knowledge, skills, and confidence – like an effective ‘vaccine’ that helps them stay safe in the online world,” shared Ms. Lê Thị Thanh Hương, Country Director of Save the Children in Vietnam, at the campaign launch.

Throughout the campaign, a wide range of communication and education activities were implemented to promote digital literacy, enhance social-emotional skills, and encourage open conversations among students, teachers, and parents about online safety. These efforts not only raised awareness but also contributed to fostering a more child-centered digital environment - where children are both protected and empowered to make positive contributions.
The closing event marked not only the end of the campaign, but also opened up further opportunities for collaboration among partners committed to children’s wellbeing in the digital age.
Save the Children is honored to be recognized for its positive contributions to the campaign. Building on this momentum, the organization remains committed to working alongside partners and communities to amplify children’s voices, strengthen their self-protection skills, and promote a digital environment that is safe, inclusive, and trustworthy.
