WHAT WE DO
Save the Children has been working, directly and through partners, across Myanmar since 1995 while developing innovative programmes to help address the most critical issues impacting children nationwide. Our programmes include:
- Ensuring food security for children and families affected by crisis, while creating income-generating opportunities to support self-reliance and resilience during recovery.
- Providing opportunities for children affected by crisis to raise their voice about issues that affect them.
- Protecting children and families affected by crisis from preventable diseases and avoidable deaths by improving access to and utilisation of essential health, nutrition, and WASH services.
- Ensuring children receive continuous, quality education in a safe environment.
- Protecting children affected by crisis through support for their families and communities, with services tailored to meet their specific protection needs.
