One week after devastating twin earthquakes, communities in the affected areas are facing severe humanitarian needs. Many people have been displaced because their homes were damaged, destroyed, or are considered unsafe, forcing families to live in temporary settlements and tents. Urgent assistance is needed, including shelter, clean water, food, healthcare and psychological support, particularly for children.
Save the Children, together with partners, is providing emergency services such as child-friendly safe spaces and health support, but significant additional resources are required to meet the growing needs of affected populations. Aisha Majid / Save the Children
