As part of the implementation of the JPF (Support for Education) Project, funded by Japan self-fund, which started on November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024. After the attacks of March 24, 2021, two years later, the education sector has faced numerous challenges in terms of materials to guarantee the teaching and learning process. It is in this context that the project comes in to support the education sector, with a view to ensuring that the teaching and learning process takes place without leaps and bounds in this atypical environment that is plaguing the province of Cabo Delgado and in particular the district of Palma.

After the attacks of March 24, 2021, two years later, the education sector has faced numerous challenges in terms of materials to guarantee the teaching and learning process and school infrastructures that were also destroyed due to the abandonment of communities in the face of attacks by members of non-state forces. This is where the project comes in to support the education sector, with a view to guaranteeing a safe environment for children so that the teaching and learning process can achieve its objectives.

In the context of implementing the Save the Children Japan's self-fund project (Education Support), which runs from 1st November 2023 to 31st October 2024, significant challenges remain in the education sector two years after the attacks of 24th March 2021. These challenges include a lack of materials necessary to ensure the teaching and learning process. The project aims to support the education sector to guarantee that teaching and learning can continue smoothly despite the atypical environment affecting Cabo Delgado province, particularly Palma district.

Principally funded by the Green Climate Fund, with co-financing from Save the Children Italy, Norad, the Government of Mozambique, and AEROMAP, LINK will integrate climate adaptation investments through Local Adaptation Plans into social protection via the Productive Social Action Program (PASP), enhancing Mozambique's Adaptive Social Protection framework. The project aims to increase the climate resilience of 415,000 people, particularly those most vulnerable, to prepare for, cope with, adapt to, and improve their food and water security and well-being, ensuring they do not fall deeper into poverty.
