Save the Children is seeking a qualified consultant to conduct a baseline evaluation for the Women’s Child Care Collectives Project in Zanzibar. This assignment will generate critical evidence on child development, women’s economic empowerment, and access to quality childcare services to inform project implementation and measure progress over time. The study will focus on community-based childcare models that support both early childhood development and women’s livelihoods.
Save the Children invites qualified consultants or consulting firms to conduct an endline evaluation for the Increasing Access to Improved School Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (SWASH) Facilities in Zanzibar project.
The evaluation will assess the effectiveness, outcomes, and sustainability of an 18-month project implemented in 10 primary schools across Unguja and Pemba. The project aimed to improve access to safe, inclusive SWASH facilities and strengthen menstrual hygiene management (MHM) for students, particularly girls.
The endline study will measure changes from baseline in SWASH infrastructure, hygiene behaviours, MHM knowledge and practices, and school attendance, while also documenting lessons learned and providing recommendations for future programming.
