Under Child Protection, Our work aims to ensure girls, boys and adolescents are protected from abuse, exploitation, violence and digital harm through system strengthening approach. Our programs target all children in all contexts, and focus on addressing online safety, appropriate care, sexual violence, corporal punishment, FGM, Early, Child and Forced Marriage, children in contact/conflict with the law including migrants and refugees, and child labour and trafficking.

Our programmes are designed to address violence prevention, early intervention and response through the whole community model. We are working with children, parents and caregivers through parenting programs, strengthening child protecting systems at all levels including in schools and at local communities, work with religious leaders and influential community leaders to challenge social norms that perpetuate violence.

Further, our work is centred on supporting review of legal and policy framework and ensure they are child rights compliant, building capacity of children on violence and their resilience, strengthened coordination and accountability systems at all levels, empowering communities and schools to end violence, advocate against child institutionalization and promote quality family and community based alternative care services, strengthening capacity of child protection social service workforce and ensuring that children who have experienced violence are connected to protection services, such as mental health and psychosocial support and access to justice.
