As part of the Vijana Plus Project, Save the Children and Tanzania Bora Initiative are looking for eight dynamic facilitators to support 40 youth-led CSOs across Tanzania. Facilitators will guide each organization through a self-assessment process and help them develop customized capacity development plans. The role requires strong facilitation, report writing skills, and experience in organizational strengthening.
The Vijana Plus Project, implemented by Save the Children in collaboration with Tanzania Bora Initiative, is focused on empowering youth-led civil society organizations (CSOs) across Tanzania. It aims to build their capacity to be independent actors of good governance and agents of sustainable development in their communities.
Operating in regions including Mwanza, Mtwara, Mbeya, Dodoma, Tanga, Morogoro, Kigoma, and Zanzibar, the project supports youth-led organizations working in fields such as digital inclusion, climate action, natural resource management, and civic engagement.
Consultancy Role:
Save the Children is seeking eight passionate facilitators to guide 40 youth-led CSOs through an Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and help them develop tailored Organizational Capacity Development (OCD) Plans. This hands-on role requires strong facilitation skills, experience in capacity building, and a commitment to youth empowerment.
