Save the Children Tanzania is inviting qualified consultants or consulting firms to conduct a Staff Capacity Assessment to support its transition to a locally led, partner-driven operating model. The assessment will evaluate staff competencies, identify capacity gaps, and provide recommendations to strengthen organizational readiness for localization.

As part of its 2025–2027 Country Strategy, Save the Children Tanzania is transitioning to a locally led, partner-driven operating model. This strategic shift aims to strengthen national ownership, enhance sustainability, and position local organizations at the forefront of programme delivery. To support this transition, Save the Children is looking for an experienced consultant to assess the readiness, skills, and competencies of staff to effectively operate in a partnership-focused environment.

The assessment will identify capacity gaps, evaluate workforce readiness, and provide practical recommendations to inform workforce planning, staff development, and change management. Findings will contribute to strengthening technical leadership, partnership management, and organizational effectiveness as Save the Children advances its localization agenda.

The assignment is expected to be completed over 4–6 weeks, requiring approximately 25 consultancy days.
