Despite the efforts made by the government, the prevalence of under nutrition is still high, and the feeding practices are still poor hence necessitating the need to invest more in nutrition. Lishe Yangu Maisha Yangu Project aim to contribute to overcome the challenge through; • Reducing stunting in children under age 5 • Increasing the proportion of women of reproductive age consuming a diet with a minimum acceptable diversity of foods • Increasing the proportion of children aged 6-23 months receiving a diet with a minimum acceptable frequency of feeding and diversity of foods. • Increasing food & nutrition security and income of the community Yoongoo Jo/Korea

Save the Children Child Psychologist Nkuhi, William at Kasaka psychiatric hospital, Kibondo district, Kigoma Region instructing Children and their guardian on how to use toys, where Save the Children distributed toys to Children who are treated in the hospital during Play On program. Save the Children (SC) has partnered with Spin Master to support activities that provide timely, quality protection and education services to children in Nyarugusu and Nduta refugee camps and host communities in western Tanzania, while strengthening coping mechanisms and resilience for girls and boys through access to Child Friendly Spaces and migrant houses where children receive age appropriate and gender responsive psychosocial support. Through this partnership, Save the Children will leverage play materials and toys. The program will complement Save the Children’s child protection and education work, providing an avenue for children to interact with peers, learn through play, and access psychosocial support. Caregivers, facilitators, parents, and other child protection stakeholders will be oriented on Child Rights and the Play On!
